During times where i couldnt play for an extended period i always just mass crafted tax certs. In hind-sight i never used even a fraction of them
I'm certain this rings true for majority of players and as several others including myself have mentioned, the necessity to login to avoid a labor overflow penalty makes AA feel more like a job and if they're anything like me they'll get burnt out from the game.

I think the labor regen rate should be halved or the labor cap doubled. And I'm pretty sure people would hate the first one, so the second one is the only real option.

Pretty accurate.
Especially since AA fans are mostly adults and it's very unlikely most can login every single day of the week.

you going to need to log in everyday to do log in tracker anyways, the problem is everyone on here that has a 9-5 with wife/girlfriend and kids, wants everyone els to only be able to progress a few hours a day, because thats all they are able to do themselfs. because their significant other is complaining all the time, THIS IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE an mmorpg, you dont have the time to dedicate to play it then you will fall behind and thats on you

I am 100% for anything more than 24 hours. The argument "this is a hardcore game" is the mentality that many private servers have and the reason many of them fail. IMO, MMORPG's, This one included, thrive with a balance between "hardcore" players and "carebears". Otherwise, you have the 30 sweaty neckbeards controlling the server after a couple months and everyone else quits, and the servers lifespan is drastically reduced. My personal hope is for us to have a well-rounded version of archeage for a lot of different folks to enjoy, not just the sweatlords.
The majority of this servers initial playerbase will likely be veterans who are all now in their 30's, 40's or older and cannot no-life the game anymore. Personally, I wont be able to play a fraction of the time I used to and I'd imagine i'm in the majority.

Perfectly accurate.
The main reason we all loved AA back in 2014/2015 was mainly due to wide variety of players. The moment only neckbeards remained playing it was boring and toxic as fk since those folks have twisted understandings of what Fun is to begin with.

Generally speaking nobody cares about tracker. It's just a thing on the side and as all Live versions of AA login tracker only required you to login like 14-20 days out of 30 to get the juicy reward. The Star you get at the end for the Costumes isn't even important.

It's more like allowing casuals to exist in the fantasy world. And also making sure that the Gap between hardcore and casuals isn't as Big as on AAU for example... Since AAU is unplayable for casuals, straight up.
I just generally Do not understand the Mistake that most make - Allowing sweaty hardcore players to destroy their servers ( AA in general, New World is probably the perfect example.. )
If teams want to cater to those guys who are more often than not Causing problem than helping solving ones.. So be it.

Given the votes, I think it's pretty clear that the large majority would like to see a larger labor cap, something that is more manageable and doesn't penalize people for skipping a single day.

Compromise seems to be around the 33 to 42 hour mark.

no one on Retail had enough labor and everyone ran alts if they wanted to do anything of a large scale
theres no alts here crafting tax certs, or eu/na like retail servers lol

However, a higher cap allows exploitation easier. It wouldn't be hard to get someone who quit the game or is only there to provide you with free labor to login once every 3-4 days to process. Small cap makes this harder to exploit.
Well... if that could be considered as a reason not to increase the labor cap...

I have better suggestion... Keep the Cap at 10k and reduce labor at 20/5.
I personally don't care how much the labor regen is as long as it's not too high to constantly pressure me to spend it, or not too low to give you feeling as you aren't moving at all.

AA is a game for adventure, combat, pvp, pve etc. Even if they raise it to 100/5 isn't gonna make the game better - it's not HP on car. It will in fact just make it much worse.

I'm also advocating for an increased labor cap. I ended up voting for the highest three labor pool options personally, but I'll take anything over the 10k cap.
